Visiting the sacred Munir Ansay Pagoda in the heart of Can Tho
A Brief History
Initially, the pagoda was a simple structure made of bamboo, leaves, and reeds. Through numerous renovations and restorations, by 1954, the pagoda gate was constructed, featuring an impressive design inspired by Angkor Wat’s three-towered sanctuary. The main hall was finally completed in 1988, transforming Munir Ansay into one of the most beautiful and majestic pagodas in Can Tho City.
